Over thirty-five years in South America has given Mr. Febres-Cordero a deep understanding of Spanish-speaking cultures and their customs and traditions. His service in the medical field in the U.S. Air Force has allowed him to amass an outstanding knowledge and instant recall of complex terminology.
A professional Medical Interpreter for 5 years, and a court interpreter for 3 years, he is experienced in criminal, civil and family cases, as well as depositions and translations. Mr. Febres-Cordero also interprets regularly in the Hoover City Court and Jail, and the City of Birmingham Court system.
Mr. Febres-Cordero also assists the City of Hoover, AL School System during parents' orientation and meetings throughout the year.
He has interpreted at Children’s Hospital for over 5 years, and has translated medical forms, patient care instructions, etc. His work at UAB as a medical research interpreter and translator of research forms provides a linguistic platform for him that ensures his clients effective communication in a myriad of fields.
