Certified Federal Court Interpreter, SELTINET'S own Heather Hayes will present "Taking Charge of the Jury Charge," a survival guide for court interpreters contending with lightening-speed readings of a lengthy jury charge. Here is the Criminal Pattern Jury Charge for Tennessee.

 

 Maví Figueres, María José Henningsen, and Heather Hayes were very pleased to be given the opportunity to give a presentation to the Jefferson County District Attorney's Office, in Birmingham, AL August 20, 2015:,  on the use of certified interpreters.  We also discussed bilingual forensic transcripts, the use of law enforcement officers as interpreters, and the preservation of bilingual evidence.
